Protect storages and Dark Elixir; the Town Hall is expendable. Every layout below is built for Town Hall 4; open one and rebuild it in an empty layout slot in game.
TH4 is not the current maximum, which is TH18. These layouts still work exactly as designed for players at TH4.

What makes a good TH4 farm base
Protect storages and Dark Elixir; the Town Hall is expendable.
- Storages in separate compartments so one break reaches only one storage
- Dark Elixir Storage in the core, under splash and Tesla coverage
- Collectors and camps as a sacrificial outer ring
- Town Hall near the edge below Legend League so a one-star ends the attack
- Cheap to one-star, expensive to loot
At TH4 the attacks worth designing against are Barbarians and Archers. Each layout page names what that base is good against and what beats it, so you can match the base to the attacks you actually face.

How do I build a TH4 farm base?
Open the base picture, then open the Layout Editor in Clash of Clans, pick an empty layout slot and place each building and wall where the picture shows it. Taking a screenshot of the picture first makes it easier to follow.
How often are the TH4 farm layouts updated?
The set is reviewed whenever the game changes. It currently holds 15 layouts checked against the August 2026 update, and layouts that no longer hold up are replaced rather than left in place.
