About Us
clashofclanslayouts.com is an independent, player-run fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or specifically approved by Supercell. We do not work for Supercell, we do not receive layouts from Supercell, and nothing here is official. See the disclaimer for the full notice and trademark attribution.
Who runs this site
The site is built and maintained by a small group of long-time Clash of Clans players who got tired of hunting for a good base, finding a screenshot from four updates ago, and copying something that no longer holds against the current meta. We are not a company and we do not publish personal names, because there is nothing to gain from it and one email address reaches everyone who works on the site. You can write to us at [email protected] and a person will read it.
We play the game. Every editorial judgement on this site comes from people who attack and defend at the Town Hall levels we write about, not from someone summarising other websites.
How the layouts are shown
Every layout on this site is shown as a full base picture, so you can see the whole village, walls and all, at a glance. To use one, open the Layout Editor in Clash of Clans and rebuild it building by building from the picture. Taking a screenshot first makes that easier. This material is unofficial and is not endorsed by Supercell. For more information see Supercell’s Fan Content Policy: www.supercell.com/fan-content-policy.
Players can also send in their own bases through the submit page. A submitted base keeps credit to its creator on the layout page.
How we review layouts
Before a layout is published it goes through the same checks.
- The picture is complete and clean. It shows the whole village, so you are not left guessing at a hidden corner, and it carries no watermark or stray text.
- It is filed in the right place. Each layout sits under the Town Hall or Builder Hall it is for and under one base type: war, farm, trophy, hybrid or fun. Each category holds at most fifteen layouts, so a list stays short enough to look through.
- It is written about honestly. Where something about a base has not been measured, the page says so rather than inventing a claim about what it stops.
- It is current. When an update changes what a Town Hall unlocks or how an attack works, the affected pages get rewritten or retired, not left in place with a new date on top.
The freshness promise
Every page shows the game version it was built for and the date the content was last reviewed. Those dates are real. We change them when we change the content, not on a schedule to look active.
When a new Town Hall or Builder Hall arrives, adding it here is a data change, so hubs, tags and the finder all appear together rather than trickling out over weeks. Older Town Hall pages stay online with a visible note that the level is behind the current maximum, because plenty of players are still at those levels and deserve a working base.
We publish nothing about unreleased content. No leaks, no sneak peeks, no speculation presented as fact. If Supercell has not announced it, you will not read it here. That is both a rule of Supercell’s Fan Content Policy and, frankly, the difference between a reference and a rumour mill.
What we will never do
We do not host cheats, bots, mods, private servers or account trading, and we do not link to sites that do. We do not use extracted game files or decompiled assets.
Corrections
If a link is dead, a base is mislabelled, or something we wrote about the game is wrong, tell us. Send the page address and what you saw to [email protected]. Corrections get made and the page date updates when they do.
