All TH18 layoutsWhat makes a base anti hydra at TH18
A mixed air push built on Electro Dragons and Electro Titans with Dragons cleaning up behind them.
- Spread the Air Defenses and keep them off the outer ring so the pack has to fly deep
- Avoid straight lines of buildings that let the chain damage run the length of a compartment
- Angle both Air Sweepers at the two open faces, since this army always enters wide
- Keep the Seeking Air Mines apart and behind the Air Defenses on the likely lane
At TH18 the attacks worth designing against are Blimp Value Plays, Root Rider Smash, Super Yeti Smash, Hydra. Each layout page names what that base is good against and what beats it, so you can match the base to the attacks you actually face.
Every layout is shown as a full base picture. Open one, then place each building and wall in an empty layout slot in the in-game Layout Editor.
TH18 anti hydra base questions
What does anti hydra mean at TH18?
A mixed air push built on Electro Dragons and Electro Titans with Dragons cleaning up behind them. A base tagged anti hydra is laid out specifically to make that attack cost more than it gains.
Will an anti hydra base stop every attack?
No, and no base does. Tuning a layout against one attack always leaves something else easier. Each layout page names what beats it, so you can pick a base that matches the attacks you actually face.
How do I build these TH18 layouts?
Open the base picture, then open the Layout Editor in Clash of Clans, pick an empty layout slot and place each building and wall where the picture shows it. Taking a screenshot of the picture first makes it easier to follow.
How many anti hydra layouts are here?
None yet at TH18. The hub exists so the address stays stable, and layouts appear here as soon as they carry the tag.
